Neurotech

Neurotech entwickelt Geräte für den Bereich Schmerztherapie,  Muskelstimulation in der Rehabilitation und  zur Inkontinenztherapie.
Bei der Schmerztherapie wirken elektrische Impulse transkutan auf die Nerven. Sie hemmen damit die Schmerzübertragung zum Gehirn und regen dabei schmerzbefreiende Mechanismen an (Endorphinausschüttung). Der Patient spürt bei der Behandlung lediglich ein leichtes Kribbeln. Eine körperliche Belastung entsteht dadurch nicht. Eine sehr einfach als Heimtherapie anzuwendende und bereits weit verbreitete Therapie gegen Schmerzen ist die transkutane elektrische Nervenstimulation (TENS). Sie nachgewiesener Maßen bestens verträglich – ohne Medikamente. TENS lindert akute wie chronische Schmerzen.
